National Fishing in Schools Program

How To Apply
The Fishing Education Foundation (FEF), our parent non profit organization, supports applicant schools with grant funding when funds are available.  Applications for funding to support NFSP in public and private schools are accepted at any time.  When available, funds are usually awarded on a matching fund basis whereby FEF makes grants of up to 50% of the NFSP program fee.  For special "pilot" programs, e.g., to introduce a new curriculum, full funding may be available for a limited number of applicants.  Applications for funding are treated in a "first-come, first-served" manner for qualifying schools and institutions.

The National Fishing in Schools Program curriculum and equipment ("NFSP Curriculum Kit") are available for public schools, private schools, government agencies and organizations thanks to the cooperation of equipment manufacturers and the support of our donors.
